Domain Auctions

MerchantMarketers.com holds weekly auctions of several premium generic domain names for client and company accounts.

Domain auctions are marketed to specific product manufacturers, distributors and retailers, as well as generic domain name investors and brokers.

To place a bid on a domain name you must be a registered user. Once registered and logged into the website, simply click on the domain name title link to reach the individual domain page. Bids must exceed the current high bid specified by the minimum increment amount. Until the first bid is placed, the "High Bid" price reflects the minimum reserve price for the domain determined by the domain seller. PLACING A BID IS A LEGALLY BINDING OBLIGATION, SO PLEASE DO NOT PLACE A BID TO PURCHASE A DOMAIN UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS NECESSARY TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION.

In the event a bid is subsequently surpassed by another bidder, we will attempt to notify the previous high bidder by email so that they may elect to either post a higher bid, purchase the domain at the Buy Now price and end the auction, or do nothing and allow the high bidder to win the auction and purchase the domain. In order to accommodate the worldwide nature of our domain buyers, auction ending times are extended when bids are placed during the final twenty-four (24) hours in order to provide competing bidders twenty-four (24) hours in which to respond. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE "BUY NOW" OPTION IS DISABLED ONCE BIDS APPROACH THE "BUY NOW" PRICE, AND THE FINAL AUCTION SALES PRICE MAY SIGNIFICANTLY EXCEED THE PREVIOUSLY AVAILABLE "BUY NOW" PRICE.

In order to facilitate the timely completion of transactions, domain names are placed in our auctioneer account at GoDaddy.com prior to each auction, and buyers must utilize a GoDaddy.com account to receive the domain name transfer from the auctioneer. Winning bidders are emailed escrow and bank wiring instructions following the conclusion of each auction. Buyers have three(3) business days following completion of the auction to complete the wire transfer of funds to the specified escrow account of ESCROW.COM.
